Brightfield Tech Academy is a social venture that seeks to offer Tech training and hub for residents of Sefwi grooming them to become tech-ready for jobs in the software industry. Brightfield Tech Academy aim is to help people to Connect with other techies to learn the latest technologies and build software products. Brightfield Tech Academy offer software programs such as Web App Development and Mobile App Development.In BrightfieldTech Academy we have Early Staters cohorts, Explorers Pack and Kids for Coding.
There are two packages such as Web App Development and Mobile App Development which is undertaken by early staters cohorts. Currently, total number of six student are undertaking the course.Github and Netlify are among the platforms where codes are push to the platform and also deployed.In Giyhub,we have repositories which contains individual first project of Early Startes Cohort.The projects are in static website using html and css.

We are happy to announce that applications are now open for the coding for kids program, aimed at empowering kids in #Sefwi to have an interest in computers. They will be exposed to how computers and programs work and learn about writing programs with the Code.org platform. Call us or visit our center to register your kid.

Oliver Mensah, a Mastercard Foundation Scholar and alumnus of Ashesi University, is a software engineer at Future500 B.V. — a software company in Zoetermeer, Netherlands. Besides his day-to-day job as a software engineer, he is very active in the developer community in sub-Saharan Africa and contributes to programs designed to support the professional development of software
